Eat a different salad every day
We could all use a healthy salad every once and a while.
“Do you struggle to get your serving of fruits and vegetables in?.”
Lets talk salad
Welcome MVF family! I know salads could get boring, but they don't have to be. There are so many different ways to enjoy these wonderful bowls of goodness, but I am aware that as much as I enjoy a good salad, there are many who do not. So... lets talk about why they will always be needed and should be incorporated into our diets on a regular basis.
Salads are a natural source of fiber
Salads are beneficial to controlling your weight
Salads can help you increase your healthy fats
Depending on your greens your salad can build strong bones
Salads are good for your eyes
Salads improve your skin
Salads are good for your heart
Salads are good for muscular system
Salads have the vitamins that you need
Salads are light
Lets, be honest, even though I have listed some of the reasons why you may want to add salad to your daily routine, some of you may still be un impressed. Salads are easy to make, you really can't mess them up. There is no right or wrong way to make or have a salad. The best part is, you can eat as much salad as you want! I have certainly eaten a salad or two later than I normally would have eaten and not found myself overly stuffed or have that guilty feeling from eating to much. You could even have salad for breakfast, yes I said salad for breakfast... Fruit can very much be a part of your breakfast salad. I have mornings where I will eat either or sometimes I eat a green leafy salad, and others I eat a fruit. This is your journey so if you want to mix it up, its completely up to you. If you do not have a nut allergy add nuts and avocado as healthy fats.
